About Us

Our office is located in the Midlothian Green shopping center, one and one half miles west of the Powhite parkway, in between La Siesta and the F&M Bank. We have been in the Richmond area since 1988.

Our mission at Midlothian Chiropractic and Acupuncture is to provide inexpensive, high-quality care to people of all ages. We strive to not only correct a person's health problems, but to educate and enlighten people so that they do not encounter similar problems in the future. We will coordinate care with other health professionals when necessary and we keep the well being of the patient first and foremost at all times.

Michael D. Johnson, D.C.,C.C.S.P.,FIAMA, D.Acu(IAMA)

Dr. Johnson graduated from Boston University in 1981 and then went on to Logan College of Chiropractic. He graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1985 and opened a practice on Long Island where he practiced for three years. He sold that practice and moved to Richmond in 1988 and has been in active practice here since that time.

While in active practice, he has taken many continuing education courses and attained additional certifications. he is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician as well as a Physician acupuncturist. His acupuncture education led to a Fellowship and then a Diplomate certification with the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture.

In order to give his patients the best possible care, Dr. Johnson continues to attend seminars on patient evaluation and care. This allows him to keep abreast of the latest developments in the chiropractic and acupuncture fields.
